Tehran Birds Garden
Spread over 23 hectares inside Lavizan Forest Park, Tehran Birds Garden is home to more than 9,000 birds from 160 species, kept in habitats built to resemble their natural ecosystems as closely as possible.
Many of them fly freely beneath one of the world's largest cable-supported canopies, so as you walk the paths the birds are above and beside you rather than behind bars.
